Getting a Starline S9 security system fitted, a full Audison DSP audio build, or a custom installation takes time — and that's a good thing. It means our technicians can do the job properly, without rushing, without shortcuts, and without you sitting in a waiting room watching the clock.
So why not use that time well?
For our customers travelling down from Cumbria and the Lake District for major multi-day builds, we recommend making a trip of it. Drop your vehicle with us first thing in the morning at our St Helens workshop, then take the train straight back up to Windermere. Spend a few days enjoying the stunning scenery, boat cruises, and great food of the Lakes. We'll keep you updated and message you on WhatsApp when your vehicle is ready to collect. Jump back on the train down to St Helens, pick it up, and drive home in something significantly better than you arrived in.

Take the M6 southbound all the way down to Junction 23, then follow the A580 and A570 into St Helens — it's a straightforward 1 hour 30-minute drive depending on traffic.

Getting Back to the Lakes from St Helens
Once your vehicle is booked in, getting back up to the Lake District by train is simple.
By Train (Recommended)St Helens Central is approximately 10 minutes by taxi from our workshop. From there
• St Helens Central → Oxenholme Lake District takes around 1 hour.
• Oxenholme Lake District → Windermere is a quick 19-minute connection.
• Total journey time is roughly 1 hour 30 minutes to 2 hours, with tickets from around £19.30 when booked in advance.
